Using NonExistPerson images

NonExistPerson provides downloads from an existing dataset and the original prototype images. Dataset files are 128 × 128 PNGs; the originals are available as 512 × 512 and 1024 × 1024 JPEGs. These sizes describe the actual files, not enlarged substitutes.

Dataset source and license notes

The downloaded collection is TLeonidas/this-person-does-not-exist on Hugging Face. The uploader supplies an Apache 2.0 license. Its linked Kaggle source reports an unknown license. The uploader's license does not by itself establish the original source's permission to redistribute these images. NonExistPerson has not independently verified that permission.

Read the retained uploader license and dataset provenance. The original prototype images have their own generation record. The MIT license on the inspiration project's software does not establish image rights.

Newly generated people

The Generate option uses Recraft V4.1 Flash through OpenRouter. Its output is separate from the downloaded dataset and is supplied in the provider's returned format. Check the applicable service terms for your intended use; the dataset uploader's license does not apply to these new outputs.

Shared images, fictional identities

The library is shared and non-exclusive. A downloaded face does not become yours alone, and an AI-generated person can resemble a real person. Do not present an image of a fictional person as evidence of a real customer, employee, identity, or endorsement.

Project use

NonExistPerson does not provide an exclusivity agreement, a model release, or a guarantee of rights clearance for every use. Check the source terms and your project's requirements before publishing or using an image commercially. Free download access is not a promise that every intended use is permitted.
